Alfred Jefferson
Alfred has been a longtime advocate for disability and mental health awareness. He currently serves as the Chair for the PAIMI (Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness) Advisory Council through Disability Rights Florida. He started serving on the Board of Directors in June. Since then, he has been able to share knowledge from his past experiences and groups to act as both an advocate and facilitator within the board. He will continue to be an advocate for the groups he is involved in even after his time on the PAIMI Council and Board of Directors in order to help the disability community. He is confident that Disability Rights Florida and related programs with become a household name and that disability rights topics will have more value and energy given to them.
