Shira Collings
Shira Collings is a Jewish, queer, disabled graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Troy University in Tampa, Florida. As a person with a psychiatric disability herself, Shira is passionate about supporting and advocating for people with psychiatric disabilities to receive care in a trauma-informed, person-centered way. In addition to her studies, Shira provides training and consultation on the topics of disability self-advocacy, peer-run mental health services, suicide prevention, and Health At Every Size.
