Eurica received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Clark Atlanta University and her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Miami. Eurica currently works as a Disability Specialist with Miami-Dade County Community Action & Human Services, Head Start/Early Head Start program. Eurica has spent the past 13 years as a devoted and passionate child & family services professional and advocate. She’s devoted a large part of her life to her family, community and public service. Eurica is the eldest of five, a caregiver to adult family members with varying healthcare/disability needs, a youth leader at her local church, and an active board member of Sant La Haitian Neighborhood Center and Vice President of We Stand Together Inc., a local nonprofit that provides support to cancer patients and their families. Eurica is passionate about supporting and uplifting the Haitian community and equipping immigrant families and those families with children with disabilities with the resources and skills needed to be self-sufficient and active members of their community. Eurica enjoys the arts, planning events and traveling.
