Lauren Amos

Lauren Amos is an attorney who has studied and volunteered in the disability rights space for over ten years. Lauren received her B.A. in History and B.A. in English from the University of Florida, where she wrote her history honors thesis on disability rights and deinstitutionalization. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she worked with the Harvard Law School Project on Disability, the City of Los Angeles Department on Disability, and the Massachusetts Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2020. Lauren clerked for Judge Virginia Covington of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Justice John Couriel of the Florida Supreme Court, and Judge Helene White of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She is certified to practice in front of the Florida Supreme Court, the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the Sixth Circuit.
