Florida Counties COVID-19 School Reopening Plan Information

Monday, August 03, 2020

With the new school year rapidly approaching and the unpredictable and ongoing impact COVID-19 has on education, Disability Rights Florida reached out to every school district in the state to gather information about their school re-opening plans. To assist parents and families, we have compiled a list of school district’s reopening plans, broken down by district. This information includes:

  • the district’s start date,
  • instructional options,
  • links to the district’s detailed school re-opening plan for those that have one available,
  • links to the district’s Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that contain Individual Education Plan (IEP) and 504 plan-related information,
  • and links to the district’s re-opening plan website.

We hope that you find this information helpful. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the implementation of your child’s IEP or 504 plan, we recommend you reach out to your school to address your concerns. If you are unsuccessful in resolving your matter, please contact our Intake Team at 800-342-0823 for review for possible information or advocacy services
