June 15 at 3:15 p.m. at the Florida Independent Living Conference at Walt Disney World Hilton Resort

Gayle Miller, Disability Rights Florida Attorney and Equal Access to the Community Manager, will join Alma Cervantes and Genevieve Cousminer for a panel discussion about strategies for advocating for equal rights for people with disabilities on the personal and on the community level.

While primarily responsible for the Equal Access to the Community team, Gayle Miller has served as a litigator on a wide range of disability issues at Disability Rights Florida.  The Equal Access to the Community Team focuses on disability civil rights violations. This Disability Rights Florida Team handles investigations and systemic reform issues regarding denied access to public and private programs and services such as state and local governments, private businesses, transportation systems, post-secondary education, housing and other reasonable accommodations, including but not limited to telecommunications and information technologies. Gayle has been an attorney in Florida since 1982 and with Disability Rights Florida’s Hollywood office since 2005.
