We are pleased to announce the release of “Transition – The Passage from Youth to Adulthood” - our brand new Disability Topic page! It covers everything from moving past high-school to postsecondary school, when to apply for vocational rehabilitation or blind services, how to learn about work incentives and social security, where to find postsecondary options including career and college training, and more! Transition is a vital time in the life of a young person. This new site will help students, parents and allies move through the process and make sure all aspects are planned and carried out properly. Check it out in the Disability Topics section of our website. We hope the information will help you make a successful transition or assist a young person with the process.
