Funds for Private School Students

If your child has been identified as a student with a disability and you would like your child to be considered for services from the school district, the non-profit private school your child attends must notify the district where the private school is located of your child's needs.
The school district does not have the obligation to provide any services to your child, but must consider your child in the pool of students eligible for the federal dollars they must spend on students with disabilities in non-profit private schools.

Funds for Private School Students. There are funds set aside in each district to support students with disabilities who attend private schools. The district does not have an obligation to provide services specifically to your child, but they must consider your child in the pool of students eligible for those federal dollars they MUST spend on ESE students in private schools.
