This webinar will provide individuals with disabilities as well as family members, friends, and advocates of individuals with disabilities (the person chosen to represent the individual with disabilities in a Medicaid Fair Hearing) an overview of the fair hearing process and how to prepare their case.
The webinar will be recorded. The recording will be posted on our website and YouTube channel.

Speakers
Angela Caldwell is a Senior Staff Attorney at Disability Rights Florida. Attorney Caldwell joined Disability Rights Florida in 2018. She obtained her master’s degree and Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. Her expertise is in health law and while at Disability Rights Florida has worked on a variety of Medicaid and Medicaid Waiver cases involving issues of eligibility and reduction and/or denial of Medicaid services. She has also supported individuals with disabilities by providing self-advocacy assistance and education pertaining to the Medicaid Fair Hearing process.
