A motion for continuance is when you ask a court to reschedule a hearing or trial. If you are representing yourself at a fair hearing, you may need to ask for a motion for continuance. This webinar will teach self-advocates:
- how to know when they might need a continuance of their fair hearing,
- how to request a continuance of a hearing with the Office of Fair Hearings (OFH) which hears AHCA appeals, and
- how to request a continuance of a hearing with the Office of Appeal hearings, which hears APD appeals.
