Children in Private Schools
- School districts are responsible for evaluating all children suspected of having a disability
- Although home schooling is not considered private schooling in Florida, home schooled children may be evaluated in the same way
- Most ‘child find activities' are conducted through Florida Diagnostic Learning and Resource Services Centers (FDLRS)
